Looking to get your school/college involved in rock climbing indoors or outdoors. You need look no further. The Barn offers every possibility when it comes down to getting them involved. Wether you want The Barn to take the group with its own experienced instructors and coaches or if you have a free-lance instructor in mind or you have your own in house instructor you want to use.

We will have an option to suit you.

School Self Supervised

If at your school you plan on using your own instructor. Make sure the instructor holds the correct and relevant qualifications.

At The Barn to teach climbing on ropes the instructor must have appropriate qualifications, a first aid certificate and supplied The Barn staff with a copy. You also have to register as an instructor at the barn by filling out the registration form on the registration page. Once you are a registered as an instructor at The Barn you need to fill out a group form with information of the group you’re taking responsibility of. This form must be filled out on the day of your session at The Barns reception.


Barn Instruction

If you are using a Barn instructor/coach you need to make sure you have parental consent from the parents of the kids.

Freelance Instructor

If a School / College is using you as a free lance instructor at The Barn make sure you have completed the following.
